Today’s topic, sleep deprivation, is sooooooo important (& recent posts by lyfwithem & assemblyofme might be related). We all know getting enough sleep (7-8 hours) is important, and lack of sleep can make emotional health problems worse: such as depression, anxiety or mania. If this isn’t enough reason to seriously look at your sleep schedule, then consider that lack of sleep can also increase risk of accidents, affects learning and memory, increased risk of heart disease and stroke, reduces libido, increased skin aging and weight gain and impairs judgement, according to excellent WebMD article.
